Help finding decent toys for my DD

Hi everyone,

I have a 6 month old and struggling to find the right toys to entertain her now that she is so active. I am big on learning through play so I tend to gravitate towards open ended toys that aids her development. I love wooden toys but they seem to be so expensive.

What toys/books are you loving at the moment? Do you know where I can find good educational, wooden or sensory toys?

Would appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you so much,
Sofia

there is a company called the baby sensory box which sends you a box full of sensory items (sight, touch, coordination, movement and hearing related). also, you can get patmats which improve babies hand eye coordination x

Nothing wrong with plastic toys. They're more hygienic at least

At that age my daughter absolutely loved a little shape sorter from Fisher Price - it had a little handle on the box so she could carry it around. She loved putting the shapes in the box (although it was a while before she could match the shapes with their holes). She got so much use out of it and it wasn't at all expensive.
