Anxious nearly 2 year old

Hi all,

I did put this in the parenting section but think it’s better suited here.

My DD is usually the one at the toddler groups dancing and doing the actions but over the last few weeks has been hiding behind me and even if we go for lunch she hides behind me and hides from everyone. (Even if they’re not looking at her or sitting with us)

Her speech is coming alone nicely and not any other problems. When we’re walking around shops she wants me to carry her and won’t go in pram/ trolly and when we go to pay will put her hand over her face to hide from the checkout assistant.

If we’re at soft play she’ll cry as soon as another child comes anywhere near close to her.

What is going on?!
