Hi mum's.
My son is 8 and over the past is say year he started this habit of constantly rubbing the front of his hair like the hairline area.
I've always found it strange but figured it wasn't doing any harm. Til now... He is actually marking the skin on his forehead from doing it. The skin is pink and rough in this one area. His teacher even asked what he's done and he told her he hit his head on a wall at playtime so he got a ice pack and an accident form! He confided to me he didnt hit his head. I don't know what to do he says he doesn't know why he does it and dad gets annoyed with him threatening he doctors. I thought it was perhaps a nervous anxious thing from his old school but he's changed school since and he is so happy there but still does this. Does he need the doctor??
