I've been taking my DS (age 2) to a music class for a few months now and he absolutely loves it.
However... His behaviour is awful! He screams and tantrums over the slightest thing but more recently has started being violent towards the other children (some of whom are a lot smaller than him).
He'll push or hit anyone that comes too close to him and the toy that he's decided is 'his' for the day. He also pushes others out of the way so he can go first.
I always try to deal with it right away but he just doesn't seem to get it. Usually I take him aside, speak to him and get him to apologise. If he's bad enough, I take him out for a few minutes to calm down.
Is there anything else I could do to help his behaviour? I am absolutely mortified every week and feel like everyone must think of him as 'that kid', which is awful because he can be the most sweet, adorable little boy.
His childminder says there's no issues while he's with her.
