Ds2 food and number 2 issues

Evening all,

Could really do with some help with ds2 who will be 4 in May.
Up until 18 months old ate everything and had no poo issues. Then all of a sudden refused lots of food and started holding his poo. Dr recommended movicol - which he refuses to drink.

We started to give lactulose to soften his poo as he was still avoiding fruit and veg. - although would eat fruit pouches. We potty trained just after his 2nd birthday as thought it might be because he was worried about pooing in a nappy. As this was the case with ds1. Still no help with the poo so we had to start to give suppositories once a week.

He started to hide in the corner to poo so we knew when he needed to go so stuck his straight on the loo. Although we could be there for 40 mins trying to get him to push it out. He still hardly eats which I'm guessing has a knock on effect with the pooing.

I always dish him up dinner that has veg but he just pushes it aside he sees us eat fruit and veg and his brother.

We are at our wits end with no pooing and not eating. Tonight made food that he will eat veggie sausages toad in the hole with swede and carrot mash, broccoli and peas he didn't touch a thing

Anyone got advice? Dr says he will grow out of it......but it's been going on for over 2 years

Sorry it's so long. It's just been a long day with trying to get him to eat and poo

Can you give us a rough idea of what he does eat and drink in a day?

Thanks for replying @JiltedJohnsJulie wasn't sure if the title put people off.

Breakfast
Cherries with semi skimmed milk and a fruit pouch (I try my hardest to serve fruit salad like I do his brother but refuses it)

Snack - Frube and yogurt coated fruit or raisins

Lunch - (when at home with me)
Peanut butter (whole nut with no palm oil) in a tortilla wrap I add some cucumber and carrot but they get left and some crisps (like quavers) or mini cheese and tomato pizza

Snack - rice tea fingers x 2 or bag of animals

Dinner - fish or chicken, rice or pasta with mixed veg. But levels the veg Or veggie sausages toad in the hole with veg. (Refuses and sauce so can't hide veg in there) And a yogurt for desert. Drinks water throughout the day.

(His older brother had the same but slightly large portion. And he eats everything so he sees)

He apparently eats everything at nursery Monday - Wednesday

But he normally needs a poo toward the end of the week when his appetite dwindles. I get him to poo every Sunday but it involves us staying home most of the day and back and forth to the toilet when we see him holding it in

For context he isn't under weight he weighs 16kg and is 95cm. Looking back maybe he has too much sugar but I guess with the dried fruit and fruit pouches i am just trying to get a bit of fruit in him.
