3 yo Son has no idea when needs the loo

To be more specific he’s grand with wees just seems to have no clue when he’s going to need a poo. I have a general idea based on past experience what time to expect it and we’ve done nappy off all morning, sitting on potty or now the loo with a seat etc but he needs to get out the house for nursery by half eight and we miss the window sometimes. Would be more flexible about this but I have a newborn who has had lots of extra appts for various health things so it’s tricky. These have come to an end now I think and my husband is off for a week next week SO any suggestions as to how we can help him? It really bothers him when it happens so don’t think just passivity.... thank you!

you could try getting one of these which vibrates, and set it to vibrate every 1.5 hrs. tell him that whenever it vibrates he needs to go to the toilet? it is difficult, especially with another little one. all the best x
