to the point where when he comes into the bedroom in the morning, he greets our feet before us, will tickle our feet (which we allow), will try to put our big toes next to his eyes (will try to do this thru out the day with me if i dont have socks on.)

he's tried it with some of the playworkers at his nursery too.

he'll grow out of this yes?
or will he be a future foot fetishist?

I have no idea, but this is bound to be something you look back on and laugh about!
Has he had passing phases in the past? Our DS2 has just discovered "dinodaurs" and is besotted with them to the point that he goes to sleep with hard plastic ones which we have to sneak in and remove before he does himself damage by rolling on to them.

I'm sure your son will work through this phase....

My son used to be like this (he's nearly four.

He used to put his nose next to my big toe quite a lot during the day.
He did it to his own feet in a shop once and he he got a strange look from an old woman and I used to think God my son is wierd
But he did grow out of it,maybe it was some kind of comfort thing.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy> rofl!

i do think its some weird comfort thing, we dont like him putting our toes right next to his eye, so we say he can tickle our feet instead.

ohh bless he loves his feet!

A friend's son used to have this when he was little. He would crawl over if you had your shoes off and hug your feet. He is a mostly normal teen now
