A few days after 1 with my first and she never crawled more shuffled about on her bum, I think about 6 months
And my other a few weeks after turning 1 and about 5or 6 months crawling

My son and nephew were born 48 hours apart. My nephew crawled at 6 months. My son crawled at 10.5 months. My son took his first steps actually on his first birthday, and my nephew took his a week later. So I guess the crawling stage lasts anywhere from about 6 weeks to 6 months in this family!

Took first steps at 8 months but then stopped after a fall. Started again at 9 months but again stopped after falling. He then crawled at 9 months and the week he turned 10 months he was walking almost instantly like a pro because he was ready at 8 months 2 weeks later he was running and dribbling a ball around the garden. He did sit up unaided at 5 months and pulled himself up at 7 months. You could fell at 4 months that he was overactive. He's 15 months now he doesn't walk just runs everywhere. My nephew crawled at 8 months and walked at 14 months. My other nephew didn't crawl until he was one and nearly 18 months walking. He just could not be bothered. It doesn't sag anything about how smart they are but they do say those who walk very young do end up to be risk takers which his father is and he walked at 9 months too. And my sister walked at 9 months and is a risk taker. And I can totally see it in my son. Which is probably why he puts objects on his chair to try and balance on it or tries to jump off the sofa when he can't properly jump. Ahhh. But have to say him walking was honestly the best thing he wanted to walk so badly that he was so wingey until the day he got up and walked.

None of mine ever crawled.
Eldest went straight to walking at 11 months.
Second bottom shuffled until 14 months and then walked.
Third bottom shuffled and sat pointing at things for her siblings to bring to her. She could walk, from 13 months but rarely bothered.

Crawled at 6 months, pulled himself up at 7 months, was cruising at 8 months... but didn't walk independently until 14 months (thank god )

Dd crawled at 13 months and walked at 19 months. Ds started commando crawling at 8 months, proper crawling a month or so later and is walking confidently holding hands but not independently yet at 12 months. Bit of a shock to the system as I anticipated another lazy one!

DS commando crawled around 7/8 months, slowly progressing to "normal" crawling. Cruised for ages, can't remember when that started. Independent steps at 14 months.

Crawled at 11 months then walked at 18 months so both on the late side however he was prem and had a serious illness at a year old which meant that he was physically unable to pull himself to standing for several months. Aged six now and there's no hint that he was delayed in any way.
