DS is 4, he will be 5 in December.
For many reasons he's not in school at the moment, but is going to a private tutor daily and several other groups.
He had been attending nursery for two years before this.
The private tutor and now another group leader have said his concentration level is for 45 minutes at the absolute maximum. This is to do an activity with them usually 1 to 1 or 2 to 1. I'm not sure whether this is ok or requires looking into?
At home he can concentrate by watching a film, following a story read to him, he has done cooking, he will sit cutting, sticking and colouring for quite a while, plays with his sister and other children for a long time.
So, should he be concentrating for more than 45 minutes with other people doing an activity or is 45 mins about right?

Could you ask the tutor if they think it’s normal OP? Has anyone suggested reading up on ADHD?

I think 45 mins for five year old is ok. It is good children this age has short attention span anyway. I won't worry in your place unless there are other issues.
