Should I be worried?

DD is 8 and a half months old and isn’t very active. She isn’t rolling over (has done once or twice but hasn’t done it since), doesn’t crawl, pull herself up. If she wants something she may try to grab it but often will get hysterical until she has it. I’m a first time mum, I don’t like to compare but seeing friends babies all younger than DD are doing so much and can’t seem to sit still. Should I be worried about her development? Sad

Sounds similar to my DD1, she showed she could roll at 3m, then never rolled again. She started crawling and pulling herself up at 10m, then walked at 17m. I would do loads of tummy time even if she protests as it will help strengthen her to crawl. My DD1 is now 8yo with no issues, very bright and physically active.

Can she sit unsupported OP?

My dd was more than happy just sat watching and having it all her way too.
Now she's 19months old and won't stop moving. Ever.
I wouldn't worry unless she shows that she can't do something. Ie, struggles with sitting, grasping things, or can't hold herself up on tummy time at all (not just giving up like dd would sometimes)

I don’t think the rolling is an issue as she has done it. Can she bear weight on her legs? Can she sit unaided? How is she with tummy time?
