Hi everyone
Dd is just over a week old, she's feeding well during the day (12 feeds today) and already gained back her birth weight despite being slightly jaundice. I'm wondering if we still have to force her to eat every three hours at night? Last night I had to wake her three times she was less than impressed and it took 20 minutes to latch. Tonight i finally got her down at 1 only to have to wake her at 3 to eat, it's been half an hour and nothing, she's not even rooting.
My mum thinks I'm mad to wake a baby to eat and she will let us know when she wants it.
So do I still have to be waking her?
