DC5 never plays. Loves to draw and paint but never plays with any of the lovely toys we have. I don't really mind but sometimes when im being pestered to put the telly on because she's bored of drawing it winds me up.
It's 10am on a Sunday and I want a chilled out day, but DC won't play unless I play with her, if I have to do something she asks for TV instantly. It makes me sad tbh, that she is so reliant on adults to play it should surely be the other way around.
Had a bit of a strop this morning saying we should find someone who wants her lovely toys since she doesn't like them I know this isn't the right way to go about it. But if I play with her, she stops as soon as I try to leave her to it, once the game has got going. Do I need to ban TV and tablet fully?
Looking forward to warmer weather and lots more outdoor time!!
