How long after learning to walk did your LO’s learn to run?

How long did it take for your LO’s to run?

DD was extremely late to walk (first steps at 21 months and walking better by 2).

She is now 2 years and 8 months and cannot run.

She has seen a paediatrician but no one will take my concerns seriously. I’m concerned there is something physically wrong with her considering she was so late to walk. I see other children running, scootering, using balance bikes etc.

DS walked at 11mo was running by 13/14 months. He didn’t toddle though, just got up and walked off.
Have you been back to the GP/HV?

DS walked at 15 months was running a few weeks later, he didn't get the hang of his scooter until about 3.5 though hope you can get a physio to look at her if that's what you feel she needs.

Thanks all. She is due to see her paediatrician soon - waiting lists, wait times here at shocking! But no Hv, paediatrician etc have took my concerns seriously but I hope they will this time! 🤔
