Tired of our routine

It's just to moan a bit.
Our little boy is turning 3 in May.

Problems we have
Atopic dermatitis
Several food allergies
Speech problems (just few phrases, lots of words but terribly unclear, more like his own language, visiting speech therapist)
Difficulties to fall asleep, same for the naps and for the night sleeps (sometimes it's even midnight) I'm very surprised when I see that some kids go to sleep at 7 p.m. just HOW are you doing that?

Feeding time is a struggle. If he doesn't like how something looks he will never try it. It all started very well when he was a baby, used to eat everything. And now I'm cooking several things at once just to try to get anything into him. No weight problems, but it's a constant fight for nutrients and some proper food.

He needs all of the possible attention (I mean seriously a lot, almost never plays on his own).

Terribly hard to get him outside for a walk. And then he is happy to play it's just the moment of getting dressed and going out. It's taking now between one and two hours to get him out with lots of tears.

Bath time is ok, what a miracle.
However washing his head is a disaster. Just that Sad

He is getting frustrated really really easily and we are having lots of tantrums all the time.

I love him a lot. Just feel myself very miserable parent at the moment.

That sounds like really hard work, you have my sympathy Brew

If his speech is poor, have you had his hearing tested and his eyes? Oddly my DDs speech improved once she got her glasses. Have you tried signing with him too?

If you are concerned about food refusal, is he tracking his centiles, both weight and height?

This book might help with sleep but if it were me, I’d call the HV tomorrow and ask for an assessment Smile
