5 year old is angry

Hi I need some advice regarding my 5.5yr old boy. From being very young he has always been clingy. He will cry everyday going into school. He struggles with Work (just moved schools) and his previous school stated there were no real concerns apart from delayed motor skills and concentration.
My little boy will have numerous melt downs every day where he will cry, become angry and lash out. Anything can bring this on eg what he eats for tea, clothes he is wearing,bath time etc.
I am really struggling to find a cause for this behaviour.
