4 month old crawling

My four month old was rocking on all fours from 16 weeks, she's now 18 weeks and can crawl backwards but when she tries to go forwards she moves her knees then forgets to move her hands so face plants the floor. Very cute to watch but she is getting very frustrated. My other children crawled around 7 months and can't really remember how long it took them to go from crawling position to properly crawling. How long does it usually take?

That's reassuring! I'm not ready for her to be fully on the move! My others were anything from a few days to a few weeks, just can't remember exactly. Hoped to hear from some other early mover parents as assume it'll take her longer to get to grips with it but they really are all so different!! My first crawled about 7 months and was fully walking at 10. 2nd crawled about 7 months and that was good enough for her until well over a year!
