First time I've ever noticed it today !

She had a bath last night - and this morning she was changing into a dressing up dress and I was helping her - and no mistaking it her armpits pong !!!

She's quite a big girl - and actually she's 6 and a half - so what's going on and what do I do ? Surely it's not time for deodorant already ?

Anyone else had this & what did you do ?

Hi scatter. My dd does too. It seems to come and go probably with hormonal development. My dd is 8 now.

I try to make sure she wears cotton shirts. It's a delicate balance trying to make her bathe and become aware without giving her a complex.

Pit Rok is good, gentle stuff and now it comes in a atomiser type spray thing.

Hi Spidermama, thank goodness it's not just mine then - I was envisaging periods looming soon then ! I hope not !!!

She was wearing a horrid nylony dressing up thing at the time -and it was hot today - so hopefully it might be a one-off !!!

I tried to explain to her in the bath that we all have to make sure we wash our armpits properly - specially when the weather is hot etc ! I think she knew she was a bit whiffity as she was a bit embarassed !

I might get some Pit Rok - thanks for the recommendation ! Do they have to put it on every day ?
