Early mornings driving me crazy

Need help my ds2 wakes up between 4 and 5:30 it’s too early . We have tried everything he’s just wide awake and wants to get up and go downstairs.
He shares a room with his big brother who started school in September so needs his sleep so can’t leave ds2 to scream ,we have tried that but he doesn’t stop ends up waking all of us including next door.
He doesn’t want milk or water we tried no interaction and just ignore him when up lights low tv off nothing still wakes early. We know it’s to early for him as falls back to sleep just gone 8 .Any advice would be helpful we are extremely tiered.

How old is he? Could you put big brother in your room for a couple of nights (maybe over a weekend) so he's not disturbed while you persevere? I'd just keep going in and saying in a calm and kind voice "it's still night time", laying him down, saying goodnight then leave & repeat until he hopefully realised he's not getting up and goes back to sleep. If you're consistent in doing this it should work x

Really good advice above. Just be super boring and repeat! Older bro in your room or living room/ corridor? It'll be like camping for him!

Have you tried the "wake to sleep" method? If not, Google it as it may help in this case. Apparently if you try it a few nights in a row, it resets their internal clocks.

I use a gro clock and they get a point on their chart if they stay in bed till morning. 7yo prone to 4/5 am waking with tonnes of energy, waking everyone in the house.
I stopped using it for a while but 7yo started waking early again. When it was as becoming too consistently on the wrong side of 5am, I brought it out again. I think he really just didn’t know it wasn’t morning as when I got it out it worked straight away. Maybe even first night. I thought it was as because he was waking for a wee and then unable to go back to sleep, but, gro clock seems to work for me. Maybe the points on the chart helped to make it succeed.
