6 year old bedwetting

DS will be 7 in December has wet the bed for the last 4 nights (full on wee, not just a little bit). It took him a while to be dry through the night anyway but he's had no accidents for at least a year now. His behaviour has also gone down hill a bit (more answering back & tantrums). We've tried talking to him but he says nothing is wrong. Is this a normal phase to go through or is there likely to be something else going on?

has he been weeing more in the day? Could it be a urine infection?

I don’t think so. He seems to be going to the toilet about the same amount as usual.,,

Is he having any trouble at school? My daughter is the same age, she has been badly behaved and gobby since about the end of September. And funnily enough has wet the bed twice for the first time in a long while. I spoke to her teacher to see how she was at school. She said that year 2 is a big step for children. The rate of learning has changed, and a lot of her pupils were anxious about school, she had a lot of mum's with the same problem.
So it could be a mixture of anxiety and stress about school.
