I am desperate for any advice or ideas! My beautiful little lady has gone from being thr happiest little munchkin to being a bloody nightmare. For about a month now, She has started taking a couple of spoonfuls of food every meal time and then refuses anymore often leading to a tantrum from both of us! She is still downing her milk but obviously this is not ideal. Also, the past week im lucky if she sleeps for 2 hours a night. She used to sleep through but now she is just constantly waking and moving around almost like she is uncomfortable? Have even taken to trying to feed jer in the night again in case its because she is hungry because of eating less but it makes no difference. She is also throwing tantrums over the smallest of things which is honestly so unlike her. She had her jabs friday and they did knock her about but all of this has been going on for longer than that. Honestly at my wits end. Any support or advice would be wonderful!

If she’s refusing to eat, could she have teeth coming through? I seriously wouldn’t worry about it though. “Both having a tantrum”.sounds like seriously hard work. If she doesn’t eat what you provide, just leave it there till you have finished eating then clear away. How much milk is she having btw? At 12 months she no longer needs the 20floz.

As for tantrums, it’s perfectly normal. One thing that helped us wa using signs as the tantrums seemed to stem from frustration with trying to get over what they wanted.

As for the sleep, could she be on the verge of walking by any chance? Smile

Thsnk you! She is already walking has been since 10 months. I did think growth spurt but think it has been going on too long now? She is cutting her teeth, but again the refusing to eat is consistent so not sure if thats the reason, although I'm pretty sure it isn't helping.
She has 4oz in the morning, 4oz after dinner and her milk for bed which at the minute is loads because she is starving come bed time.
She has eaten both meals today quite well and slept through last night so i am seriously hoping it was an awful phase 😂

Fingers crossed then Smile

With the food, I’d try to look on what she’s eaten over a week rather than a day. Some days they eat like sparrows and sone like, well ravenous toddlers. Looking on it over a week takes the pressure off if she doesn’t eat much of one meal Smile
