Bonding with 7 year old.

I feel like my 7year old daughter is going on 17!

And I feel like I can't connect to her?

How does everyone spend time and involve themselves with there kids?

Basically feeling like I've missed something or lost something and need to get it back between us.

That's a shame. Can you think of anything she would enjoy that you could do together? My DD is 9 so a little older. We've recently started walking dogs at the local rescue centre at the weekend. She loves dogs and we get to spend an hour together chatting and walking around.

She also loves going out for lunch, just the two of us although we don't manage that very often.
