3 year olds crazy tantrums

Ok, I need to know if this is normal because I'm losing my mind.

Just from today. We were going to Nana & Grandas for lunch. Before we went she started crying/whinging to me that she didn't want to go. A little later she was crying/ whinging because she wanted to go outside.

The 2 minutes where we were actually leaving the house was her constant crying about nothing in particular.

She was great at PILs house.

We had to go to the supermarket on the way home - she started crying/whinging and threw screaming into the mix as we were leaving. She would run a few steps then throw herself on her knees so I told her to stop and held her hand. By the time we'd gone the 15 seconds to the exit we were at full on screaming.

She was holding her toy and she kept dropping it and then screaming crying when she picked it up so I took it off of her. So more screaming.

It took 20 minutes for her to calm down once we got home.

Mitigating circumstances are a new 8 week old sister and a bad cough.

Someone tell me she'll grow out of this. DH doesn't want to ever leave to house again with her!

Sounds about right.

It's the 8 week old sister's fault!

DS is three, DD is seven weeks, he's acting the same.

That's what I thought! Yesterday was just so extreme. She was deliberately dropping a toy and then screaming crying when she picked it up.
