Worried flat head and can't sit up yet 6months

I have a 5yr old son. He was always very advanced. Cut his first 2 teeth at 3 months and then did 2 at a time every few weeks after that. By 4months he was sitting up very straight. Always had good head control. His head never went flat at the back. By 6 months he was crawling and by 8 months he was toddling. Fully walking by 10 months and fluent in at least 50 words so very very advanced. I was a sahm so spent a lot of one on one with him.
My BF has a LB who's 6months. He can't roll over. Has very little head control. Hates being on his tummy. Cannot sit up at all. He's babbling and starting to say da da da. But his head is completely flat at the back. Very worried SM atm how can I help??

None of those things are necessarily problematic in a 6 month old.

Are there medical concerns? Has BF (is that boyfriend or best friend?) taken the baby to a GP?

Does the baby live with you? I'm not sure how much you can get involved if not.

Your boyfriend (or is it your best friend?) could look into the helmets you can get to correct a flat head. They are somewhat controversial as they aren't thought to be necessary, but some people swear by them.

Make sure that when he's lying down, other than when he's going to sleep, that he's on a soft surface. Sofa, duvet, cushion for his head. Obviously only while supervised.

Don't worry about the sitting, some just do it much later. Mine was delayed. Sat a year, crawled/rolled a bit after that, and didn't walk until almost 2.

My 7mo doesn't babble at all and only rolls front to back. I know 2 babies the same age as mine that done roll in either direction, but they seem completely normal.

When my baby was 5mo, he folded in half in sitting position. All of a sudden, we tried again in 2 week, and he sat up unassisted. It was almost as though it happened overnight!

Also, I think it's ok that he can't sit up yet. I read that if a baby is not sitting unassisted at 10m, it may be a concern.

God you need to chill a bit - your friends baby is fine.
And yours isn't advanced because he cut his teeth early! When you get your teeth is nothing to do with intelligence! And actually the gross motor skills you boost about aren't actually a great correlator with intelligence either.

Has she asked for help?
I don't think the sitting up thing is worrying at all. I am just so impressed that you remember everything so clearly! Well done.

My daughter didn't roll until 6 months.
Sat up at 9 months
Crawled at 12 months
Babbled at 11 months.

12.5 months now and still can't pull up to stand,
She's completely normal and your friends little boy is to
