Hi ds is 11 months old and have been trying to get him to drink from a beaker for about two months but he will not entertain the idea at all.
I have brought about 6 different ones but to no avail. Any ideas/hints/tips/ most greatfully recieved!!!!!!

I have 3yo twins, and I have the same problem, I have tried just not giving them a bottle, but then they won't drink milk, spose its only breakfast and night drink, so isn't really a massive problem

Have you tried one without a spout? Neither of my DC's ever got the hang of sucking through spouts and went straight onto cups: very small amounts at a time and pelican bibs.

My twins have bottle am/pm and drinks in a normal cup during the day, its just the milk drinks that would be better in a cup aswell!

Ds likes the doidy cup, although I have to admit he only drinks tiny amounts from it so I wouldn't want to use it for milk, he just has diluted juice from it. That may be a good start for your ds. I think he likes being able to see what's coming towards his mouth IYSWIM

i had same problem and the best result was the boots bottle-to-cup trainer cup as it has a soft spout. lots of perseverance as well. ds still has a bottle at night tho!
