Does it blanch? Please check. Is she ok in herself? Is it raised and bumpy?

Is it just her face?

Baby eczema possibly

She's so little, I'd ring OOH anyway. Hope she's ok.

Sorry, just seen it close up, looks raised and bumpy. It could be eczema, consult your GP/HV on Monday as you can get creams to help on prescription along with bath stuff etc. Very important to check it's non-blanching first though.

It's only on her face and head.

If it's worse after feeding have a look into your diet and how it can affect eczema if that turns out to be what it is.

DS had baby acne and it looked exactly like this. I'd still get her checked ASAP though to be 100% sure and put your mind at rest.

Bless her! Both mine went through this delightful phase. Only one went on to have (very mild) eczema. I'd be inclined to see the GP/HV because "internet diagnosis" blah-blah. Brew

It looks like baby acne to me too. DD had it from 4-6 weeks. She looked almost like she had measles, poor little thing (though it didn't bother her).

Of course, see the GP to put your mind at rest, but I'd bet my bottom dollar that she's just having a spotty phase.

I just kept DDs face clean and dry, and popped a tiny bit of Sudocrem on it when she went to bed. DD didn't have quite as much as your DD, but it looked basically the same (I'll try to find a photo).

NB: I think baby acne is caused by your adult hormones left over in her system, DD also had a tiny mini period at about the same time, so be ready for that, it's pretty terrifying if you don't know to expect it.

Mine both had this at about six weeks and it cleared up in a couple of weeks. I breastfed too.

I taken her to the doctors today they said ance but it's getting so much worse? Should I stop breastfeeding her? As it's my hormones making her like It

I don't think it's the new hormones form your breast milk, I'm almost certain that breast milk is the ideal thing for her right now. I believe it's the hormones left in her body from when she was in your womb.

And don't worry! A beautiful baby is a beautiful baby, I bet you £10 it's cleared up by this time next month!

My DS had this and both HV and later GP said it was baby acne, he's almost 5 months and has had it on/off since he was born. He's had a few creams given by prescription such as E45, Dermabase and more recently a cream with a low dose steroid.

He has really sensitive skin so not sure what bath gel etc you use on him currently but I found moving to Child's Farm helped.

Sorry meant to say my GP said not to be worried that my DC has had it several times up to 5 months as for the first year babies have very sensitive skin

She's gorgeous bless her, is she unsettled, wheezing, sick after feeds. ? My daughter reacted to dairy in my breastmilk and at 4 months was diagnosed with a serious dairy allergy. She had so called baby ache all over her. X
