Hi
This is my first ever post on Mumsnet, so hello everyone!
My DD is 9, and has recently started to walk to school with some friends. She has told me that they get money for school healthy tuckshop each day, but they go to the sweet shop on the way to school and blow it on sweeties instead. I'm good friends with the mums of these girls - should I tell them or butt out? Don't want them to be pissed off that DD has told me, but also hate lying and deception.... It may start small but where will it end? Any thoughts?
Thanks
X

I would say nothing in this situation. There is little harm from what they are doing, and you would risk dd's friendship.
