How's that for a topic?!?

Problems with DS - nearly 12 months, keeps waking screaming about 2am, take his nappy off and he is huge, let him erm, relax for 10 mins and you can re-nappy and he goes back to sleep nicely.

Is there anything I can do to stop it hurting and waking him, without making his nappy so loose it leaks?

I know its a long shot

Don't really know how to hel, but ds1 also had/has a similar problem, in that the nighttime erections can be rather disruptive to his sleep - you can always tell when he's got one as he grunts and groans as if he is in some distress. All I can suggest is to try a different make of nappy, maybe a different fit would be more comfortable - pull-ups can be quite loose without leaking.

Does he have a tight foreskin?

Maybe you should get him checked out by the GP? Especially if he is in pain, do you use reusables or disp?

The actual erection doesn't hurt - its the squished downness that is the problem.

He's in cloth - I dunno if disps would be more roomy and let him expand?

Would have thought cloth would be roomier?? can you go up a size (depending on what you are using)? Might make him more comfy - ME sandy's come in a Toddler size and they are quite roomy anyway. Would only need a couple for the night.

We didn't have the problem last night, and he was in his minki which is huge, so will test the theory

Oooh could swipe a disposable from CSWS too and try that!
