Bedwetting Alarms - which to choose?

We've decided to get an alarm I've just been looking at the ERIC website and there's quite an array to choose from - wired, wireless, those which attach to the body, those you put at the bedside. If you have ever used one could you let me know which one you chose and why? Thanks very much.

We're on night 2 of using an alarm (can't remember the brand but it is the type you clip onto underwear, from Amazon), and suffice to say, me and DD6 are knackered today. We had three accidents in the night - the alarm went off each time, but by the time she is awake then the wee has happened. At the moment, I'm at a loss to see how the alarm is actually going to help? I'm also trying to get as much liquid into her during the day to strengthen the capacity of the bladder and then stopping drinks around teatime (or a sip if she needs to).

We are going to stick with it but I'm loathe to be sending her into school every day, having had awful sleep - I had hoped we might crack this over the summer holidays but by the time we had been away on holiday and then a series of late nights (when I didn't think it was right to use the alarm as I figured she would be in a deep sleep), we have only got around to starting it now.

What I am also doing is laying the bed with three layers of fitted sheets with a disposable bed protector in between each sheet so for each accident I just whip off the top sheet and the disposable one, leaving a dry one underneath. Washing machine is busy today!

Any success stories or tips would be appreciated!
