So he was claiming off the sofa, and he as soon as he got down tripped on a ball and went down face first. Side of his cheek has bruised straight away.... Should I take him to a&e? He fell a few days ago aswell but didn't bruise until the next day. Any time I turn my back for even 2mins he's jumping on the sofa really don't know what to do! As I'm writting this he's jumped on the sofa again Angry when he fell he cried a little but wanted to be let go of so he could get to his toys and books....

Anyone???

If he isn't in obvious pain then I would leave it.... There will be lots more bumps and bruises in the coming months and years x

No
He just had a bump, he will have many many more
Have a cup of tea and calm down

Did he land on carpet or hard floor? I wouldn't bother with A&E to be honest, unless it becomes swollen and bothers him a lot.

Don't feel bad, accidents happen, it certainly doesn't make you an idiot. My dd2 has fallen off the back of the sofa before, I was right there, just couldn't get to her in time - she was fine. Mn is full of similar accidents! If it doesn't hurt when you touch it, it's unlikely he's done any serious damage.

Put a cold cloth on it. Is he often falling?
