I am looking for any book recommendations on behaviour for 5/6 year olds. I ready quite a few of the 'what to expect toddler' and found them useful, but I need some more grown up techniques and insights. (i'm still occasionally using naughty step and counting and i'm sure there's more effective methods out there).
I also find myself saying, 'you won't get this treat unless...' most days/several times a day... Anyone got any suggestions? Many thanks

How to talk so kids will listen, and listen so kids will talk? They have techniques which can be applied to all ages. It's not about methods in the vein of reward charts etc, just how to foster communication and good behaviour through the way you interact.
