Wow what a difference an empty jar and the possibility of filling it with pasta makes to a 5 yr old girl!

Ok, in a fit of exasperation I plonked 2 empty jars on the kitchen windowsill and told dd(5) and ds(2) that they needed to get 8 pieces of pasta in their jars by Saturday night otherwise they will not have the usual sat night takeaway. DD has transformed and was very helpful this morning. Now how do I carry this on all week and what are the rules? I have told her that I will take pasta from her jar for naughty behaviour. Also how do I include a 2 year old in this?

Pruni not quite 2 yet actually

He is only included because I was cross with them both and wasn't really thinking, more like reacting. Have explained to DD that he will get pasta for just finishing his dinner or staying in highchair.

What reward are you using? I didn't want to add another treat into what sems like their treat filled lives so have told them the takeaway has to be earned to not expected.
