Baby walkers - how old do lo's need to be?

I don't want to start a big debate on whether its good or bad to use them. I just want to know at what age did you start putting your dc's in one? I think we put ds1 in one at about 6mths but can't remember. ds2 is 5mths and we'll be getting the walker out at some point for him.

not sure exactly as mine were babies some time ago but it was when they could easily support themselves, strong back and necks. Not in them for too long either. No wedging in to support their little bodies.

Maybe I should wait until he can sit up unsupported, at least I know his back is strong then

i think thats best. also i think someone told me they can damage their toes and feet if they use them too early.
