My middle Dd is 4 - almost 5yrs. She started school last September. When she was 3 I took her to the SLT service locally as she said very little and had a limited vocabulary. It was a bit pointless as she refused to speak during the 3 appointments so they couldn't assess her development. She started speaking mire of her own accord and now she's normal for her I I think, although doesn't like speaking much except at home. My concern now is her pronunciation particularly of th and v sounds. My oldest never really had these issues and I'm not sure if it's something we should be helping her with or if it's normal and she'll learn naturally to say these sounds correctly. For example she says berry not very and wiz instead of with. Any thoughts?
