2.5 year sick for over 2 weeks already! need advice

My oldest is 2.5 years old and has been refusing to drink or eat much.. After 4 days of him refusing to drink and eat I took him to a&e and he got diagnosed with strep throat and a swollen lymph node! He got antibiotics for 10 days which I gave him! But no change he still has no big appetite. And on Sunday he started to vomiting. On Monday he committed 3 times and Tuesday also 3 times. I tried giving him pretzels and ginger ale but he refuses it. So I took him to see a walk in doctor (our family doctor moved away and we are still waiting for a new one) and there in front of the doctor my son threw up again and all he said was just watch and give him something to drink.

My son complains all day with stomach pain. I'm starting to worry as it is already over 2 weeks with him complaining about his stomach pain.

The doctor told us to get some blood test done to check for bacteria. But he just told us to watch him.
He only had one wet diaper all day and that felt like he peed just a little bit as the diaper was not even full. I told that the doctor and he was not concerned at all.

I know you moms are not doctors but what would you do? What should I do?
I'm exhausted as I have a 1.4 year old who keeps me busy too. Plus I had the stomach flu on the weekend too.
Thanks (sorry for the long post)

Is he taking any rehydration drinks (or any drinks)?. Have you tried ice lollies, ice cream, etc. How long has he been taking the antibiotics now? It doesn't matter so much about the foods but he needs to be taking fluids. Are there any other drinks he likes ?

So do you think he had a throat infection and now a stomach bug (like you)? Or do you feel like this is all one illness. If the first, it's just really bad luck. Will he take icepops for liquid? If it's the second - back to the doc. You're not in the UK, are you? It's tough to make a good recommendation when we don't know your health care system... Flowers

I'm in UK and would take to a and e. One wet nappy in a day is not normal. Stomach pain for 2 weeks isn't normal....is he really unwell? Could be a number of things from constipation to appendicitis but I would want further investigation.

And further investigation from a paediatrician.

I live in Canada!

He is still happy but cries a lot because of the stomach pain he just wants to sit on my lap and not play! So we got him a small kitten (he loves cats very much) who distracts him quiet a bit!

I gave him ice lollies, ice cream which he loves but can only keep it down for a little bit!

Regarding his wet diapers. He only peed again this morning at 9:30 am since yesterday at 11 am. Which is more then 12 hours of not peeing!

This morning he asked for his milk, I gave him his cup he only took a small sip and then handed it back to me. He loves his milk!

I bought some gravol and also ice lollies pediacrite (not sure about spelling) it has electrolyte in it specifically for kids when they are starting to get dehydrated!
I will give him that shortly!

He stopped taking antibiotics on Sunday morning and that evening he started throwing up!

temperature?
could he have a swollen lymph node in tummy?

my dd has had severe stomach ache since fri, with a temp, no d&v though.
they have checked lungs, ears, urine. but gp is checking her urine again.

will he not eat/drink around the time of being given pain meds?

some viruses can apparently cause uti.

Temperature is normal!

Based on the doctor I saw yesterday I not supposed to give him any medication only gravol when it gets worse!
And he won't even eat after medication
