Maybe I am being unreasonable but this is really starting to bug me...
My dp works quite long hours and shift patterns, I'm currently on maternity with my 7 month old ds. Thing is, my dp works every one in four weekends and recently any weekend he's off his brother is asking for help with various DIY projects in his house. I wouldn't mind so much except his brother can't get his rear into action in the mornings so it's always slap bang in the middle of the day. Usually my dp is away for about 3-4 hours at a time helping his brother. Apparently my dp is the ONLY person can help him! My dp is not in construction but is just good around the house. Anyway, it bugs me that my ds is missing out on time with my dp (ds always has huge smiles for his daddy )
AIBU to ask my dp to say no to his brother occasionally or to insist it's a time that suits us rather than his brother? (For info his brother is married with no dcs as yet)
