Mince-no it's not mince, it's now burger crumbs Hmm
My children were never going to be fussy, it was only going to be organic, home made, they'd gleefully nibble raw broccoli and shout hurrah at the prospect of a wholesome stew. But no. Fussy buggers.
Burger crumbs Confused

(Tbf they did use to eat all that stuff, I don't know where it went to pot)

There's no such thing as tomato sauce, only pizza sauce.

When DD1 was very little I used to be able to feed her puréed broccoli, swede, turnip, carrots, you name it as long as I held a yogurt pot in front of her face with my other hand Grin

My husband was a bit tired and spent a few minutes in the frozen aisle looking for chicken fish fingers.

In the past mine have eaten "rabbit popcorn" (raw carrots) "scrambled snake" (chicken casserole) and "gruffalo crumble" (rhubarb crumble). Sadly now they're too old and canny for such ruses, and unfortunately still fussy Sad

Grapes = cherries and cherry tomatoes to DS1 because, unless referred to as grapes, they are inedible.

When I was a child, DM called green beans 'green spaghetti'. I was not keen on green beans but loved spaghetti. I can vividly recall The Fear that if I did not demonstrate a love for this unpalatable green spaghetti, I would never again be allowed the normal white stuff Grin

I 'hated' mushrooms but would eat Penguin soup as a child... Took me ages to realise.

DH is Spanish. If our children don't like (say) onions, they get told "oh no, this isn't onion, it is cebolla"

Didn't work with mushrooms, did work with onion.
