DD is nearly seventh months old and very active. She's rolling all over and trying to crawl, so she's doing great physically, but she's now waking to be fed 2-3 times every night after sleeping through for weeks, feeding nearly every hour in the day, and she's suddenly got very clingy and I can't step out of her sight without her crying. It's got me stressed, exhausted, and worn down. HELP?!

I sympathise! My DD will be 7 months next week and she is the same - rolling all over the place and desperately trying to crawl, won't be comforted by anyone but me, waking up more in the night.

Friends with older babies have assured me it will pass and that learning new skills often makes them like this. Doesn't help at the time though does it?!

In the meantime, Cake and Wine for us!

Totally normal - search up Separation Anxiety :)

Basically, they start realising that they can move away from you... And that You Might Not Be There when they decide to come back. So they need a little extra reassurance. It passes in a few weeks for most babies, although not all; just like everything else, they're all different!
