Not sure how much longer I can cope with ds2. He started the day by stamping around and screaming, I don't even know why. Him and ds1eventually got in my bed which was nice for a bit but ds2 kicked me in face deliberately and then threw my phone. He is constantly hitting, kicking his brother. Screaming for no reason. Breaking things. Swearing. He's now kicking off again. He's just turned 4. Preschool say he's fine there. So it must be me. Sitting here in tears again. I try so hard with him but always end up getting cross aswell.

Anyone? He has since given me a cuddle and said sorry. I just wish I knew what triggered his outbursts. He's so lovely but his temper just overpowers the house.

That sounds really hard Brew

I have younger dc so I don't have personal experience but I was a very naughty child and I would be constantly nasty to my brother and very hard work for my poor mum. Tiredness and hunger made me much worse, is there a pattern in his behavior?

I was also well behaved at nursery/school, I think I just felt more relaxed at home.

I hope things get easier, have one of these as soon as it's socially acceptable to do soWine

Thanks Stripy. I've just been out with dcs and my mum. He was awful. I'm so embarrassed by his behaviour. I think it is li ked to tiredness and hunger and he has just been ill.
My plan is to just get through the next few days and then chat to pre school again.

Not much help here as I only have younger dc's too 3yo and 10mo just wondered if it is an attention thing? Have you got anyone that could help you out and you could have one to one time with him? Also I think a lot of children struggle with the Christmas period and all the excitement and change in routine. Hope it gets better soon ??

Thanks stress. Think its a combination of things, we've struggled with behaviour issues for about 18 months, it seemed we were getting there. Suppose it serves me right for judging naughty dcs and their parents when ds1 was little and a complete dream child Grin
