Very bumpy pram ride

Hi

I'm a very nervous new mum and today I was taking my 10 year old son to school and we were late so I ran with the pram, with my 4 month old son inside (it is a quinny buzz xtra). Well a stone got caught between the two front wheels and I didn't realise at first, when I looked downs into the pram, my sons head was shaking from side to side really fast as a result of the stone getting caught and me running.

I'm so worried that this could cause harm? He seems to be acting himself but I have read on some sites that sometimes if the baby has been hurt it will not be evident straight away.

I hope I don't sound too much like a raving nutter, but I would really appreciate some help or some calming down!

Thanks xxx

I used to deliberately walk my DS over the bumpiest places I could find. Only way to get him to nap....

Prams and buggys are designed to cope with and protect babies from this sort of thing. It would have to be very hard shaking to cause damage and the vast majority of these cases are caused deliberately.

Don't worry! He'll be fine!

Thanks everyone for replying Smile. He is not himself since it happened but he has got a cold that is bothering him, that's making him cranky. 10 years ago, when I had my first, things like this didn't worry me but I'm terrible this time round! I seem to worry about everything! Maybe because i didn't have the Internet then! Thank you for reassuring me about bumpy places and strong prams...
Xx
