Not quite sure if this is in the wrong category, if so how do I get admin to move it?

Was wondering what everyone considered normal in an older babies' nappy?

DD is coming up to 10 months old and it seemed like overnight her poo changed big time. It went from a playdoh consistancy to something more like a newborn nappy - paste like, loose, but also a rich brown and I can smell (to an extent) what she's had for dinner in it (sorry!) She's on 3 meals a day with a drink, snacks in between and either a normal drink or a bf depending on which she prefers at the time. She also still feeds at night.

I don't know if this is a normal development, whether its actually normal poo even as the change was so sudden. I asked the HVs when we last had her weighed and they put it down to teething. But it's shown no sign of going back to how is was.

DD appears fine in herself, I know her meals are healthy as I specifically make them for her (she eats better than we do!) So this is why I wanted to know what other babies nappies' were like. Do you think this is normal? Just a phase?

The Bristol Stool Scale is so useful for poo understanding Grin

It sounds fine to me OP. They do change now and then and could be to do with teething though I don't think a link has ever been proven most people say teething seems to create loose stools.

Sounds just like DS' nappies. He's the same age. Seems happy and healthy. Definitely looser poo and really sniffy/snotty when teething.
