Mealtime madness - TrippTrap, BabyDan, Hauck Alpha/Beta....

My 2 & 4 year old are both a bit rubbish at sitting up fo0r meals. We have always sat together at a table, but since they've outgrown highchairs, we've really struggled to get them comfy enough to want to sit for any time. We did have the 2 year old on a booster attached to the chair, but with leaning it doesn't seem safe/comfy.

I'm thinking about using the highchair likes the TrippTrapp in the junior mode to get them higher and more comfortable - I would prefer something cheaper like the Hauck Alpha as they're older so won't get as much use (and I'm going to get 2!)

Any thoughts?

Have a look at IKEA Agam.
It's a child sized dining chair that is higher so they can sit comfortably at the table for writing as well as attempting good table manners. Ours have been very good and are robust enough for me to sit my big arse on them too.

We have Tripp Trapps, still using them now with dcs age 11. One of our best buys and super useful as extra adult chairs too when we have visitors.
