how can i get him to use his cutlery?

Hi ds is 3y 5m and has never really used a fork properly, he has been able to use a spoon quite well but has suddenly stopped using both all together and just uses his hands. Its making meal times with him. Night mear especially at pudding time he just puts his hand in what ever we give him and ends up with more on him han in him.

I don't know if he is attention seeking as dd is 7m and he seams to have started to act like a baby in some ways. Is he just copying her as she is weaning or just being a pain.

Anyone got any advice on how to get him to use cutlery.
