DD about to move into own room - tips needed please

My DD will shortly be moving into her nursery. She uses a dummy to help her get off to sleep and I was hopeful that she would 'swap ' this for her thumb/fingers in time for the 'move' but so far she still hadn't quite settled on a thumb/finger.

I suppose I am simply wanting to avoid getting up several times in the night to put her dummy back in.

Any tips welcome.

You can buy comforters with Velcro straps to attach dummies to. They enable a baby to find a dummy and replace it for themselves. We had a bunny one with four dummies. It worked like a dream for about two weeks until DS decided to give up on dummies completely! If you google 'dummy comforters' you should find them. At 5 months she should be able manage it.
