Hi there, just looking for shared experiences really.
My son is nearly 15 months. He doesn't drink milk in the day but has a bottle at bedtime, and usually wakes up at least once or twice through the night. When he wakes he will ONLY go back to sleep after another bottle. Once he has had a bottle he settles back to sleep fine.
I've got it in my head that he shouldn't be drinking this much milk in the night at this age. My daughter at this age didn't even really want milk at bedtime.
If your baby carried on having milk in the night at this age, how did they eventually stop? Do they just give up as they get better able to sleep through! My son has slept through a couple of times in the last couple of weeks, the general trend is for him to be able to sleep longer periods. Will he just get to the point, once he is really running around, where he doesn't wake up any more and so doesn't need a bottle?
Should I give him more milk in the day - at the mo he just has it at nap time if we happen to be at home for his nap (otherwise he just sleeps in the car/pram). Will more milk in the day mean he doesn't need to wake for it at night?
Any experiences very much welcome as am wondering whether I need to do anything or just let him grow out of it.
Thanks
