My ds is 22 no and is generally a chilled happy boy, speech just exploding at the minute and he had a lovely temperament most if the time BUT lately he has started
To have moments of what seems like great frustration and anger.

For instance, if he is playing with his 'choo choos' and the magnet that holds them together comes apart because he pushes them too fast, then he will shout and throw the or push them away. Same if he is building a tower and it falls over, or if he is trying to get a toy to do something it won't do.

I try to show him but he is determined to do it himself. It means that I avoid getting certain toys as I know he will kick off. It's generally quite a momentary thing, and he is easily distracted, but I am
Just wondering is he normal?? And am I handling it right? What do I do?

Totally normal, don't worry, and it should be over fairly quickly. Demonstrate if you an before he gets worked up but otherwise let him figure things out himself. Problem-solving is a key part of learning and the more he finds things out by himself the faster the frustrated stage will pass.
