I think 2yo DS love me too much aka the clingiest child ever

So after 3 independent but still very loving DDs we had DS 21/2 years ago and what a shock.

He's obsessed by me, I cannot move without him being there, if I go out the room he's got to come and find me. He sits on me all the time and is particularly obsessed by my hair, he pulls it, kisses it, eats it etc I cannot sit on the sofa without him being as close to me as he can be. He's insanely jealous of anyone else sitting on me or cuddling me. If DH goes to change him it's "no mummy do it"

I'm a SAHM and we have no family so its just me and him a lot, the only time he's not with me is when he's with DH is I'm out.

Everyone is telling me it's boy behaviour And it is nice, he kisses me constantly, tells me he loves me and I'm the best Mum in the world but he will not leave me alone.

I know he wont be like this at 5 and hell be going to nursery next year so maybe I should enjoy it.

DH also jokes that no wonder I don't want cuddles from him at night as I've had DS pawing at me all day but it is kind of true.

Well, I have a DD like that so I am not sure it is a boy thing... It drives me a bit crazy some days, but it is lovely overall. I tell myself. My DD is 2yrs 2mnths.

My ds 3 yo is like this. Dd was until about 2.5yo, but while its annoying at times I love the fact he wants to hug me. He won't want to in a few years so enjoy it now.
