Reaching/grabbing objects

Hi
My son is almost 7 mths old and he still isn't really leaning forward reach out to grab things. If an object is just out of his reach he won't make any attempts to try and get it but instead he just will look and stare at it or get upset and frustrated. Is this something I should be concerned about given his age?

TIA
B xxx

Dd is 7.5 months and thinking about it doesn't really reach out all the time. Sometimes she will but lots of the time she just grumbles or does a sort of bouncy bum dance until you work out what she wants. I wouldn't worry too much at this stage, though I am generally rather blasé about such things and just assume it will all sort itself out sooner or later...
