5 month old crying continually if I move

Its driving me mad. She is calm if held but the minute I set her down and move away, not out of her sight, even a foot away she just screams and screams. Nothing is getting done without a background of screaming. Its not great for my other 2 dc (3 & 2) - cant ut their food out or change a nappy or comfort them of hurt without the baby just screaming. This has been going on for about 3 weeks and I feel like I am losing the plot! She is feeding well, good size, nappy always changed, sleeping ok more or less, doesnt seem sick and is perfectly happy as long as I am holding her or right next to her. Its too early for separation anxiety I think? I cant carry her in the sling all the time as I have a bit of a prolapse I dont want to aggreviate. Any suggestions? Thank you!

She may hav just got used to it. Cud u cope with using a controlled crying program? Pat her back in the cot every 10mins or so but dnt talk or pik her up. At the mo its unfair to yor other Dcs isnt it? If u kno shes safe and well she just has to get used to being on her own sometimes. Gd luck.
