Biting?

Does anyone have a biter? What do you do as a reaction to it? DS bites or tries to at least a couple of times a day and I tend to raise my voice (but not shout) and say something like DS that hurts Mummy. I'm sure he has no idea bit I figure if I keep saying it one day it'll go in. During bath time tonight he grabbed my hand and before I could get it away (seriously he's that fast !!) he bit down really hard on my nail bed. Said the usual DS no and then he dragged his fingers down my face (luckily I'd cut his nails earlier) and just stared at me. I know he's testing boundaries, I know it's (I hope) not personal but so upsetting. Luckily DH got in in time to do stories so I could leave them to it. (Sorry for such a long one).

say nothing, put him down.

Any attention is good attention to them. He won't understand that you are sad or hurt yet.

They don't like being ignored.

We say 'kind hands' and baby will cuddle and stroke instead.
