My 19 month old will not keep a nappy on if I leave him on his own in his room with the baby gate on he will the nappy off ave a poo on the floor and rub it in everywhere and advice is appreiciated as I can't take much more x

Does he take the nappy off to have a poo or is the nappy coming off anyway and he has a poo at some point?

I don't no wen I come in the nappy is off and poo is everywhere its driving me mad

pants on top of the nappy? my friend does this, and it foils the little tyke

I think its likely he's becoming aware of the nappy being full of wee and so takes it off. It could be time to start introducing the idea of the potty if he's not keen on doing it in the nappy.

In the meantime, you could try pull-ups if you haven't already, also putting vest and sleepsuit on backwards to make it harder to reach in.

I should add that the reason I think you might want to introduce the potty now is that otherwise you'll go through he'll trying to get him to poo in his nappy instead of te floor only to later on try to wean him out of the nappy!! Babies are often ready earlier than we think!!

i have tried pant and pull ups and everything he can always manage to get it off hmmmm i think the best bet is a potty so and advic on how to potty train first time mum and nooooo experiences :(

The way I Introduced the potty was to put babe on potty in front of me on loo. Then made numerous trips all day to loo and said 'DS on his potty. Mummy on her potty. Pee pee and poo poo!'.
